ASC Welcomes New Member Natalie Kingston

Natalie Kingston grew up in New Iberia, La., and recalls her childhood as “a whirlwind of creativity and storytelling.” After earning a bachelor’s degree in mass communications at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, she landed a job at a local television station and commenced a crash course in production. Shooting local commercials and operating the camera for live-sports broadcasts led to work in the camera department on film productions, which eventually led to shooting shorts, documentaries and music videos. She won an Emmy and received a Camerimage Golden Frog nomination for the series Black Bird (“Hand to Mouth”).
